Who is responsible

WorldSift (worldsift.com) is operated by Gal Hatzor, who is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

Account data: your email address, used to send sign-in links and identify your account.

Seller data, if you sell: your name or business name, country, the contact details you choose to show buyers, your listings, uploaded files, feed links, and import history. Your chosen contact details and listings are shown publicly.

Technical data: our hosting and database providers keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, time and the request made, for security and troubleshooting.

Browser storage: we store your language and search preferences, and your sign-in session, in your browser’s local storage. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Searches: WorldSift doesn’t keep a history of what you search for.

Why we use it

To provide the service you ask for (signing in, listing, searching), which is necessary to perform our agreement with you.

To keep WorldSift safe: screening prohibited items, preventing fraud and abuse, and keeping an activity log of moderation decisions. This is our legitimate interest, and sometimes a legal obligation.

To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who else processes it

Supabase: database, sign-in and email delivery. Data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).

Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of the website.

Page resources loaded by your browser: fonts from Google Fonts, code libraries from jsDelivr, and exchange rates from Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev). These services receive your IP address when your browser loads them.

Partner retailers and affiliate networks, such as Awin or CJ: if you click a partner link, you leave WorldSift, and that network and retailer may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Some providers may process data outside Israel and the EU. Where required, this is covered by adequacy decisions or standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account and seller data: while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and listings within 30 days.

Moderation and security records: up to 24 months, or longer if needed to deal with a legal claim or obligation.

Technical logs: kept by our providers for their standard periods, usually a few days to a few weeks.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data; receive it in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We reply within 30 days.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority; in the EU, the authority in your country.

Security

We use encrypted connections, database access rules that separate each seller’s data, and restricted administrator access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

WorldSift is not intended for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its date are always on this page, and we will announce significant changes on the site.

חלק מהספקים עשויים לעבד מידע מחוץ לישראל ולאיחוד האירופי. כשהדבר נדרש, ההעברה מוסדרת בהחלטות הלימות או בהתחייבויות חוזיות סטנדרטיות.

כמה זמן נשמר המידע

פרטי חשבון ומוכר: כל עוד החשבון פעיל. כשתבקשו למחוק את החשבון, נמחק את הפרופיל והמודעות תוך 30 יום.

רישומי פיקוח ואבטחה: עד 24 חודשים, או יותר אם הדבר נדרש לטיפול בתביעה או בחובה חוקית.

יומנים טכניים: נשמרים אצל הספקים לתקופות הרגילות שלהם, בדרך כלל מימים ספורים עד שבועות ספורים.

הזכויות שלכם

בהתאם למקום מגוריכם, לרבות לפי חוק הגנת הפרטיות הישראלי ותקנת הגנת המידע הכללית של האיחוד האירופי (GDPR), תוכלו לבקש לעיין במידע, לתקן או למחוק אותו; לקבל אותו בפורמט נייד; להתנגד לעיבוד מסוים או להגבילו; ולבטל הסכמה כשאנו מסתמכים עליה.

להגשת בקשה, שלחו אימייל אל [email protected] מהכתובת המקושרת לחשבונכם. נשיב תוך 30 יום.

תוכלו גם להגיש תלונה לרשות להגנת מידע: בישראל, הרשות להגנת הפרטיות; באיחוד האירופי, הרשות במדינתכם.

אבטחה

אנו משתמשים בחיבורים מוצפנים, בכללי גישה במסד הנתונים המפרידים בין נתוני המוכרים, ובגישת מנהלים מוגבלת. אין מערכת מאובטחת לחלוטין; אם תתרחש פריצה שתשפיע עליכם, נודיע לכם ולרשויות כנדרש בחוק.

ילדים

WorldSift אינו מיועד לילדים מתחת לגיל 16, ואיננו אוספים ביודעין מידע עליהם.
